I hate to say it, but it depends. It depends on whether you are happy to stay a small nonprofit or if you have ambitions to become a much larger operation in time. So, if you have any desire to see your good work be scaled up to have more impact over time, then the answer is most definitely YES - the Cracking Generosity steps can be applied to building income for your nonprofit.
Large nonprofits of significant scale can often lose their closeness with donors. My hope for such organisations is that just reviewing current fundraising operations compared to the Cracking Generosity principles will add value by identifying ways and means to ensure donor closeness is better maintained and respected.
Again, it does depend. The call on my time to consult one to one is skyrocketing so my best answer at this time is to please email me at malcolm@crackinggenerosity.com and let me know your situation. I am trying to get an online training programme set up as fast as I can that might be helpful but I will reply and we can hopefully set up a zoom or skype meeting to kick things along. Apologies for not being more specific but I don't want to over promise my time under the current circumstances. My good lady wants to see me from time to time also.
